52-year-old man shot, killed in Richmond motel, woman charged with his murder
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman has been charged with murder after a 52-year-old Richmond man was shot and killed in a motel in late January.
Just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 100 block of Greshamwood Place for report of a shooting.
When they arrived, officers found 52-year-old Darrell Mann of Richmond on the floor inside of a motel. He had been shot.
Mann was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
In a March 18 press release, police announced that 35-year-old Misty Swift of Richmond was arrested in connection to this deadly shooting.

According to police, Swift has been charged with Mann's murder, the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possessing a firearm as a violent felon.
A police spokesperson confirmed to 8News that Swift and Mann were known to each other.
