73-year-old man identified in deadly Chesterfield County UTV crash

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 73-year-old man has been identified as the driver who was killed in a crash involving a UTV, or utility task vehicle, on Saturday in Chesterfield County.

According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, the incident happened in the 20300 block of Little Road on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Police received a call at 11:48 p.m. to respond to a crash after a UTV ran into a tree on private property.

The victim was identified as 73-year-old John V. Mazza, Jr., of Chesterfield County. According to investigators, Mazza died at the scene.
