80-year-old woman dies in single-vehicle crash in Buckingham County

BUCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- An 80-year old woman died in a single-vehicle crash in Buckingham County on Sunday.
On Sunday, Dec. 14, at 5:46 p.m. Virginia State Police (VSP) responded to a car crash on Mottley Mill Road, south of Old Buckingham Road in Buckingham County.
Once on the scene, they found a 1999 Mercury Sable crashed off the right side of the road in a ditch.
The driver was identified as 80-year-old Dorothy Holian, of Cumberland County. Holian was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
VSP is still investigating this crash, but they said Holian was wearing her seatbelt.
