8News talks to Richmond Ballet about upcoming ‘Giselle’ production

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from two special guests with the Richmond Ballet on Monday to talk about "Giselle," a production coming to the stage over Valentine's Day weekend.

8News anchors Autumn Childress and Madison Moore were joined by company dancers Ira White and Mikell Graf to discuss what people can expect.

"There's love, there's deception, like you were saying, there's supernatural elements, which is really cool and you don't necessarily see a lot in ballet, so it's really cool to bring this to the Richmond public," White said.

Throughout the interview, White and Graf also showed both anchors several examples of the pantomime gestures used in the show.

Ballet fans can catch the production at the Dominion Energy Center's Carpenter Theatre from Friday, Feb. 13 to Sunday, Feb. 15.
