8News talks with Richmond Symphony about February events

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- 8News got a visit from a special guest with the Richmond Symphony on Thursday to give a preview of what is hitting the stage throughout February.

8News anchors Autumn Childress and Madison Moore were joined by Matt Wilshire, vice president of artistic planning & orchestral operations, to discuss what people can expect.

One of the first big events is "Let's Groove Tonight," happening Friday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. and featuring a look back at all of Motown history.

"It's going to be really great to feel that emotion go across the orchestra, and really show actually how complex these works are themselves," Wilshire said.
