RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- An actress from the recently Oscar-nominated film "Anora" is set to star in an upcoming short film that will be filmed in Richmond.

The horror short, "We'll Still Be Here", is about to start pre-production and will feature Lindsey Normington, an actress who played Diamond in Sean Baker's newest film "Anora."

This will be the first short narrative project produced by Shenandoah Studios, according to their latest release. It's led by Seyla Hossaini, a Richmond writer-director who has brought several other horror shorts to film festivals across the United States.

Alongside Normington, the cast also includes Paige Smeltzer ("Swagger"), Noah Peterson ("Evil Kin") and Olivia Gropp ("Holly and Hot Chocolate").

As described by Shenandoah Studios, "We'll Still Be Here" is a horror short film centered around vampire lore as well as different themes that pertain to our current climate.
