Admission discounted on Halloween for Garden Glow at Maymont

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Looking for Halloween plans in Richmond? Maymont's Garden Glow will offer discounted admission prices, goody bags for kids and a fright-free atmosphere.

In the evening on Friday, Oct. 31, Garden Glow at Maymont will offer a "Value Night" for Halloween, with discounted ticket prices. Adult tickets will be $20, and children ages 16 and under will get in for $16.

Adult member tickets will be $18 and children member tickets will be $14. Museums for All tickets -- for those with a SNAP/EBT card -- for all ages will be $3.

Visitors on Halloween will receive goody bags for kids, treats handed out by volunteers, and backdrops for your Halloween costume photos. It will be a fright-free atmosphere.

Costumes are encouraged, though Maymont noted that visitors should be mindful of maintaining a fright-free environment.

Attendees should beware of low lighting and make sure their sight is not obstructed by their costumes. In addition, organizers said to wear comfortable shoes due to the challenging terrain along the glow paths.
