Adult, 3 kids without a home after Henrico house fire

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A family is without a home after a Monday evening fire in Henrico County.

The evening of Monday, March 23, crews with the Henrico County Division of Fire were called to a single-family home in the 300 block of Bernie Court for report of a house fire.

Video taken at the scene shows heavy fire coming from the home, visible through a neighboring fence and greenery.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly, per officials.

However, the damage it caused to the home displaced the family who lived there, including one adult and three children.

At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
