After-school activities canceled at Falling Creek Middle School in Chesterfield after power outage

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Friday's after-school activities were canceled at Falling Creek Middle School following a power outage at the school.

According to a spokesperson for Chesterfield County Public Schools, officials at the middle school shared a notice to parents and guardians regarding the cancelation on Friday, Sept. 26.

After-school activities will reportedly be canceled at Falling Creek Middle School on Friday, Sept. 26, due to a power outage.

According to Dominion Energy's outage map, it appears the outage has ended, but school officials said after-school activities are still canceled on Friday.

Dismissal at the middle school is set to take place on a regular schedule, however, buses may reportedly be delayed due to traffic around the school's campus.
