American Idol to hold virtual auditions for Virginians in September

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Do you think you have what it takes to be the next American Idol? Virginians can audition virtually this September for a chance to appear on the hit reality series.

Virginia Auditions for the next season of American Idol will take place on Thursday, Sept. 11. These virtual auditions will be hosted by American Idol audition producers.

For those who can't make the Sept. 11 date, American Idol's East Coast Open Call will take place on Friday, Sept. 12 and the South Open Call will take place on Monday, Sept. 15.

Finally, nationwide open calls are set for Wednesday, Sept. 3 and Wednesday, Sept. 24.
