Artists and makers invited to apply for Visual Arts Center of Richmond’s Bizarre Market Holiday 2025

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Central Virginia artists are invited to apply for the Visual Arts Center of Richmond's Bizarre Market Holiday 2025.

According to organizers, local makers of ceramics, jewelry, art, printed goods, skin care, accessories, stickers, housewares, toys, shelf-stable snacks and more. Folks are asked to apply before Oct. 26.

"Totally handmade/hand-printed items are given priority over designs that have been applied to mass-produced goods," organizers said.

New this year, makers are asked to apply in one category per application, but multiple applications can be submitted.

"It's possible that you'll get accepted for one, some, or all of your categories - the jury just needs to compare applications by single category to ensure fairness," the Bizarre Market team said.
