Author Sadeqa Johnson to host book talk in Henrico with 8News anchor Deanna Allbrittin
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Local New York Times bestselling author Sadeqa Johnson will stop in the Richmond area on Monday for a conversation with 8News anchor Deanna Allbrittin as part of her "Keeper of Lost Children" book tour.
"Keeper of Lost Children" is a historical fiction novel that follows the story of three mixed-race children following World War II, and how one woman's vision "will change the course of countless lives."
Johnson will discuss the novel with Allbrittin during an event hosted by Fountain Bookstore at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, at Grace Baptist Church, located at 4200 Dover Rd. in Henrico County.

According to Fountain Bookstore's website, tickets to the event are $35 each, which includes admission for one person and a signed and personalized copy of "Keeper of Lost Children."
8News anchor Madison Moore and StormTracker8 Meteorologist Jessica Kirk were joined by Johnson on Tuesday, Feb. 3 to talk about what writing books means to her.
"I go into these dark spaces and I pull these stories out and then I give them life," Johnson said. "I give voice to those who didn't have a voice."
