Bestselling author of ‘The Paris Novel’ coming to public library for All Henrico Reads
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The New York Times-bestselling author of "The Paris Novel" will discuss her featured book during a community reading program with the Henrico County Public Library next week.
Ruth Reichl, a James Beard award-winning author, will talk about her bestselling book, "The Paris Novel," which was published in April 2024, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, at the Henrico Sports and Events Center in the county's Glen Allen area. The event is part of the community reading program, All Henrico Reads.
According to Henrico County Public Library, the program will include several events, such as an in-person discussion and a book signing afterward.
The novel, "The Paris Novel," follows Stella, a young woman, navigating Paris in the 1980s by herself after her estranged mother dies and she is left with a one-way plane ticket. Throughout the book, Stella honors her mother's last wishes and is shoved into Paris' culture.
