Biographer Richard Brookhiser to host lecture on latest book at Virginia Museum of History and Culture

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Acclaimed journalist and biographer Richard Brookhiser will host a lecture on his latest book, "Glorious Lessons: John Trumball, Painter of the American Revolution," at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture in mid-April.

According to the museum, the lecture will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16.

Attendees will learn how John Trumbull, a firsthand witness to the American Revolution and aide to George Washington, captured the legacy of the war through art.

Tickets are required for admission. Tickets for non-members are $38, and tickets for Virginia Museum of History and Culture members are $28.
