Caroline High to hold emergency exercise related to nuclear power plant

CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Caroline High School will hold a mock emergency exercise related to a local nuclear power plant in early April.

On Wednesday, April 1, students and staff at Caroline High will participate in a mock emergency exercise related to the North Anna Nuclear Power Station, according to a March 11 Facebook post from Caroline County Public Schools.

Emergency vehicles, as well as Caroline County Department of Fire and Rescue staff, will be at the school outside of school hours on both March 11 and March 12 as preparations for this drill are made.

No additional information on this exercise has been shared at this time.
