Carson Road in Dinwiddie County to be closed for bridge repair
DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A section of Carson Road in Dinwiddie County will be closed for a week this month, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). Beginning on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m., a section of Carson Road between Hardiways Mill Road and Route 1 will be closed for a bridge repairing project until Friday, Nov. 22. Drivers have been asked to follow the detour route below during the closure: Westbound: Take Carson Road, to Hardiways Mill Road, to Courthouse Road, to Route 1.
