RICHMOND, (WRIC) -- As Summer approaches so has the start of concert season in RVA. Richmond's own Allianz Amphitheater is set to host several of them.
8News has compiled a list of some performances you can expect to see this summer at the Riverfront Amphitheater in Richmond.
Rick Springfield

Dispatch With John Butler (With Band)

Glass Animals: Tour of Earth
U.K. Indie rock and pop band Glass Animals is set to make their way to the Richmond Amphitheater on Wednesday, June 11, at 8 p.m. The concert will also feature an appearance by Canadian singer Yves Jarvis. For more information on tickets and show dates you can click here.
Boys II Men
The Grammy Award winning 90s R&B group Boys II Men, will be making an appearance at the Richmond Allianz Amphitheater on Thursday, June 19, at 8 p.m. "The End of the Road" boy band will also feature an opening performance by "No BS! Dwight Yoakam

Kansas & 38 Special with the outlaws

Kidz Bop Live Certified Bop Tour
There's a concert for everyone this summer even including kids. Kidz Bop will be performing at the Amphitheater Thursday, July 10, at 6 p.m. as part of their "Kidz Bop Live Certified Bop Tour," with their last stop being Sept. 10 at Puyallup, WA. Counting Crows
Count down the days until the Counting Crows concert! The band will stop by the Riverfront Amphitheater as a part of their "The Complete Sweets! Tour" with Gaslight Anthem also featured in the lineup. If you're not able to make that show don't worry the band will also be performing July 13 in Bristol, Va. Dave Mathews Band
The 1991 Rock band, Dave Mathews Band will be performing at the amphitheater on Tuesday July 15, at 7:30 p.m. However, if you can't make that performance don't worry, the Charlottesville band will also be performing Wednesday, July 16 as well. Mumford & Sons and Friends: Railroad Revival Tour

Simple Plan: Bigger Than You Think! Tour
Don't plan simple for this performance by Simple Plan, as part of their "Bigger Than You Think" tour. The concert is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Riverfront Amphitheater with performances also by, 30H!3, Bowling for Soup and LOLO.
Gavin Adcock - Need to Tour
Country music singer Gavin Adcock's, will be performing at the Amphitheater for his "Need To Tour" on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7:30 p.m. The artist was previously arrested earlier in the year and has recently been making his first bout of public appearances since then. The concert will also feature performances by Braxton Keith and Lanie Gardner.
Alison Krauss & Union Station Featuring Jerry Douglas
The group will take to the Riverfront amphitheater Friday, Aug.29, at 7:30 p.m. Willie Watson will also make a performance appearance. Although Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas is the last show in August there will still be a plethora of performances in September ranging from, Leon Bridges "The Crooner and The Cowboy" to, Steve Martin and Martin Short: "The Dukes of Funnytown."
