Chesterfield Bee Festival to head to Chesterfield County Fairgrounds

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The 14th annual Chesterfield Bee Festival, featuring bee demos, honey product tastings, live music and more, will be held at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds on Saturday.
Hosted by the Rockwood Park Backyard Beekeepers Association in association with the Bumblebee Jamboree, the Chesterfield Bee Festival will kick off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, and will run until 3 p.m. at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds.
Attendees can enjoy bee demos, honey product tastings, interactive exhibitions, food trucks, vendors and a native plant giveaway.

The festival will also feature live music by the Bee Flats, educational talks, activities, community partners, environmental organizations and contests.
The fairgrounds are located at 10300 Courthouse Rd. in Chesterfield County.
