New Wong’s Tacos location opens in Hanover’s Mechanicsville area

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A new Wong's Tacos location opened in Hanover County's Mechanicsville area on Tuesday, according to officials.

The restaurant, which is owned by the Richmond-based EAT Restaurant Partners, opened on Tuesday, April 7, at 9206 Rutlandshire Drive in Mechanicsville, serving lunch and dinner daily, per an April 7 social post.

According to Wong's Tacos website, all locations blend Chinese and Mexican cuisines into burritos, bowls, tacos and other fusion dishes, forming what they playfully call "Mexinene."

Officials shared that doors will be open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Patio seating is open and heated in the winter, per the website.

Wong's Tacos also has two other locations in Central Virginia: Midlothian and Henrico County -- as well as another location in Raleigh, N.C.
