Chesterfield County man dies in motorcycle crash
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is dead following a motorcylce crash in Chesterfield County Sunday night. Chesterfield County police said the crash happened around 7:05 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13th, near the intersection of West Hundred Road and Chestnut Hill Road. On scene, officers found a man who had been thrown from his motorcycle. The man was later identified as Caleb Carabin, of Chesterfield County, who was pronounced dead. An investigation revealed the driver of a GMC Acadia, 59-year-old Darly Eavey, of Hopewell, was exiting the parking lot of 'I Don't Know Sports Grille' on West Hundred Road when he hit Carabin. Eavey was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and involuntary manslaughter. Police continue to investigate the crash.
