Chesterfield libraries to offer early voting next week

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield County will open five satellite locations for in-person, early voting at its libraries next week.

According to a release, beginning on Monday, Oct. 20, the following locations will host early voting:

The satellite locations will be open:

  • Monday, Oct. 20 through Friday, Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 25 through Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

LaPrade Library is currently under construction. Chesterfield County urged voters to pay attention to notices and signage on site.

How to vote early in Virginia for the November 2025 General and Special Election

Voters can also continue to vote early at the Central Library located at 7051 Lucy Corr Blvd. during these hours:

  • Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Nov. 1
  • Saturday, Oct. 25 through Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All in-person, early voting ends Saturday, Nov. 1, according to the release. Voters must provide their name, address and an acceptable form of ID when they arrive at any of the satellite locations. Click here for a complete list of acceptable IDs.

Voters can also drop off their completed absentee by-mail ballots at all early voting satellite locations while the polls are open.

Curbside voting will be available during the early voting period for voters 65 years of age or older and for those with a disability.
