Virginia State Police search for bus in I-95 hit-and-run in Caroline
CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Virginia State Police is searching for a dark-colored bus believed to be involved in a hit-and-run on Interstate 95 in Caroline County Saturday evening.
According to Virginia State Police, troopers responded to a crash on I-95 South at mile marker 105.3 at about 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, just a mile away from Route 207.
Police said an initial investigation reveals that a black Honda Civic was hit by a bus, which officials have described as being black or dark blue in color with a white stripe.
The bus, which is believed to have damage to the passenger side, fled the scene following the crash, according to police.
No license plate information is available as of the time of reporting.
Officials said the driver of the Honda has injuries considered non-life-threatening.
