Chesterfield Mobile Office Hours removed from Rep. Wittman’s website following protest

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Republican Congressman Rob Wittman's Mobile Office Hours in Chesterfield County was removed from his website as of Friday following a protest at its location days earlier.
As of Friday, Feb. 28, Virginia Congressman Rob Wittman's Mobile Office Hour location in the Midlothian area of Chesterfield County has been removed from his website.
The removal comes after hundreds of people filed into the American Legion hall in the Midlothian area of the county on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at an event hosted by Wittman’s (VA-01) office and protested the GOP and President Donald Trump's agenda.
8News Capitol Bureau Reporter Tyler Englander attended the event on Wednesday and reported that Wittman’s constituents peppered a Wittman staff member for nearly two hours about a GOP budget resolution, which Wittman voted for on Tuesday, which they believe could lead to cuts to Medicaid.
Wittman wasn’t in attendance, nor was he ever scheduled to be at the event.
It is unclear whether the removal of Wittman's Mobile Office Hours at the Midlothian location was due to Wednesday's protest.
8News reached out to a representative of Wittman's office on Friday about the removal of the Midlothian Mobile Office Hour location from his website and received the following response:
