Chesterfield Police to host Medication Take-Back event for expired, unused medication
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Chesterfield County Police Department will host an event in October to help community members safely dispose of expired and unneeded medications.
Chesterfield Police will host its Medication Take-Back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Wegmans, located at 12501 Stone Village Way.

According to police, Chesterfield Police officers, Chesterfield Sheriff's deputies and volunteers will be on hand at the event to collect unused or expired prescription, over-the-counter and veterinary medications.
Residents should leave medications in their original containers. Needles and syringes will not be accepted.
