RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Drivers can expect traffic and road closures later this week due to the Dominion Energy Christmas Parade throughout Richmond. According to the Richmond Police Department, the annual Christmas Parade will begin at 10:15 a.m. and will end at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. The Road closures will begin at 6 a.m. that morning and last until 2 p.m. “No Parking” zones along the route will go into effect from 3 a.m. until 2 p.m. The annual Christmas Parade will start at the Science Museum of Virginia and proceed east on Broad Street toward Seventh Street. Major city roads such as Broad Street and Leigh Street will be affected.
