NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) -- Virginia State Police have issued a CODI alert on behalf of the Newport News Police Department for a missing teenager.

Marwa Barakzai, a 16-year-old female, was last seen getting off a school bus at around 6 p.m. on Fontaine Road on March 19, according to police.
Barakzai stands five feet three inches tall, weighs 100 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black and white hijab, black pants and black sneakers with white soles.
