HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Comcast customers in Hanover County may experience issues contacting 911 on Thursday. At around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, officials said Comcast had contacted Hanover County to advise that its customers in the county may experience issues calling 911. According to a spokesperson for the Hanover Public Safety Emergency Communications Department, county residents can call the non-emergency number at 804-365-6140 by using a cell phone as an alternative to reach emergency services. The spokesperson said updates on the situation will be provided as they are received.
