Cultural Arts Center to feature an outdoor country concert and jazz event this fall
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Fall season at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen will feature an Outdoor Country Concert with Slate River Band and a Jazz Special Event with Rex Richardson. It's highly encouraged to bring your lawn chair and dancing shoes, while enjoying some classic and contemporary country hits. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online. Wine, beer, beverages and snacks will be available for purchase at the concert, according the arts center. According to the arts center, Richardson is most known for his days performing alongside the famous Jazz saxophonist, Joe Henderson. Currently, he is a Yamaha Performing Artist, as well as a Professor of Trumpet and Jazz Studies at VCU. Tickets cost $20 and are available for purchase online.
