Deadly four-vehicle crash shuts down I-195 North in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A deadly four-vehicle crash shut down Interstate 195 North in Richmond Wednesday night. The crash took place just before 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, on I-195 northbound in Richmond, near N. Hamilton Street, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). According to Virginia State Police, one person died in the crash. Police are continuing to work to identify the victim and notify next of kin. As of 9:20 p.m., all northbound lanes were closed.
