Districtwide phone outage affects Suffolk Public Schools

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- Suffolk Public Schools is experiencing a districtwide phone outage.
In an Instagram post Monday morning, SPS shared they are currently unable to send or receive landline calls and bus notifications cannot be sent.
SPS officials add they are actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
It is unclear how long the outage will persist at this time.
