Driver charged after two-vehicle crash on Hull Street in Richmond
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A driver was charged with reckless driving after police say she ignored a traffic signal and hit another vehicle on Hull Street in Richmond on Saturday evening.
Just before 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the intersection of Hull Street and Richmond Highway following a report of a two-vehicle crash.
When officers arrived, they found the drivers of both vehicles. Investigators determined that the driver of a gray four-door sedan disregarded a traffic signal and hit a blue two-door sedan.
The at-fault driver, a woman, was taken to a local hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
She was treated, released and then charged with reckless driving.
The other driver did not report any injuries as of the time of reporting.
