Driver injured after vehicle crashes, lands in river in Hanover County
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A driver is injured after police said they crashed into trees and landed in the South Anna River in Hanover County. At 3:09 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, Virginia State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-95 South in Hanover County. Police said the vehicle went over the guard rail and hit several trees while overturning down a steep embankment and landing in the South Anna River. After officials searched for the driver, they were found with non-life-threatening injuries.
