Driver injured in crash that closed lanes on I-95 in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A driver was injured in a crash that closed lanes on Interstate 95 South in Prince George County on Sunday.

Virginia State Police said the crash took place at 2:38 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 28, on I-95 South at mile marker 42, near the exit for Routes 35, 156 and 301, in Prince George.

According to police, an SUV ran off the right side of the road and hit a sign.

The driver suffered minor injuries, police said.

This crash is still under investigation, but police said all lanes should be clear soon.
