Driver injured in fiery single-vehicle crash on I-64 in Henrico County

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- One person was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 on Saturday morning.
The crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. on Dec. 13 on I-64 West near the Mechanicsville Turnpike exit.
Virginia State Police said a vehicle overturned into the median and caught fire, causing both sides of the interstate to be closed temporarily.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening but serious injuries.
