Dundas Road in Chesterfield to remain closed due to construction until November
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- While a road in Chesterfield County has since reopened after severe flooding in the area, its eastbound lane will remain closed for the next few months.
On Thursday, July 24, the Virginia Department of Transportation announced that the westbound travel lane on Dundas Road had reopened as of 8:45 a.m.
However, the eastbound lane will remain closed for scheduled construction through late November, per the department.
At around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, the department announced that the road would be closed in both directions between Meadowdale Boulevard and Strathmore Road due to flooding. At the time, traffic was being diverted toward Chippenham Parkway.
