Early voting begins in Chesterfield County for June Democratic Primary
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Early voting for the 2025 June Democratic Primary Election starts in Chesterfield County on Saturday.
At 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, early voting will begin in Chesterfield for the 2025 June Democratic Party Primary election. For this election, voting will only be held at the Central Library, located at 7051 Lucy Corr Blvd.
In-person voting hours for Central Library:
- From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday -- until June 13.
- From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 7
- From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 14
For those that receive a mail-in ballot, it is recommended to use the postage paid return envelope or return their marked ballots into one of the drop boxes. The drop boxes will be accessible while the polls are open during early voting or any polling location on election day -- the box at the Registrar's office will be open during business hours until 7 p.m. on June 17.

If voters normally receive absentee ballots by mail, but would like to vote in person, they must present the mail-in ballot at the voting site and provide it at check-in. According to Chesterfield County, voters will be given a new ballot that they can use to vote and insert into the ballot scanner.
Curbside voting will be available for senior citizen residents 65 years old and older, as well as those with a disability.
