Early voting begins in May for 2025 primary elections
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Virginia Department of Elections has announced that early voting will begin on May 2 for the June 17 primary elections.
The department released information detailing that in-person early voting begins on Friday, May 2 and will continue until Saturday, June 14 for the primary elections.
Those who want to take advantage of early voting can find the locations in their jurisdiction by clicking here.
Additionally, the department encouraged people to bring a form of identification with them when they vote. A list of acceptable forms of ID can be found here.
These elections concern Virginia's Democratic Party primaries for lieutenant governor and attorney general, primaries for Democratic and Republican nominees for seats in the House of Delegates and other local races.
