Eastbound Route 10 to close in Chesterfield for railroad crossing repairs

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- CSX will close a section of eastbound Route 10 in Chesterfield at the beginning of June for railroad crossing repairs.

Eastbound Route 10 between North Enon Church Road (Route 746) and River Haven Boulevard will close daily from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6.

The Virginia Department of Transportation urged drivers to use the following detour:

Eastbound traffic -- north on Interstate 295, east on Route 618 (Meadowville Road), south on Route 7767 (Meadowville Technology Parkway), continue south on Route 746 (North Enon Church Road) and back to Route 10.
