Experience local history, culture at the 27th annual Mattaponi Pow Wow
KING WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Come dance, celebrate and learn about the local history of the Mattaponi Indian Tribe at the 27th Annual Pow Wow.
The Mattaponi Indian Tribe is hosting its 27th Annual Pow Wow on Saturday, June 21, at the Mattaponi Indian Reservation, located at 1314 Mattaponi Reservation Circle in West Point.

The grounds will open up at 10 a.m. and grand entry starts at noon. Kids aged 5 and under are free, and general admission is $5. Pets are not permitted.
According to the tribe, attendees can expect to learn more about the culture of the Mattaponi Indian Tribe, as well as experience dancing, drumming, artisans and tasty food options.
