Fire breaks out inside Chesterfield 7-Eleven

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield County Fire and EMS are investigating a fire that broke out inside a 7-Eleven in the county's Woodlake neightborhood Sunday night. At 10:25 p.m. on January 5, fire crews responded to the 14600 block of Time Square Drive for reports of a fire in the bathroom of the 7-Eleven. Once on scene, firefighters discovered fire through the roof of the store. Officials said one person was inside the convenience store when the fire started and was able to escape with no injuries. The fire was marked under control at 12:13 a.m. on Monday, January 6. The fire marshal will now investigate a possible cause to the fire.
