Fire Station 8 introduces new logo designed by Matoaca High School students

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield County Fire and EMS has introduced a new logo designed by graphic arts students at Matoaca High School at Fire Station 8 on Tuesday, March 4.

According to a social post from the fire department, the design is part of a class project. Students met with firefighters at the station, which celebrated its opening at 6612 Hickory Road, to gather ideas and pictures for the design and combined those concepts to create the logo.
