Flood watch in effect for some Central Virginia areas
                                RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The National Weather Service has issued several flood watches in Central Virginia due to this morning's rainfall.
The following cities and counties are under a flood watch:
- Amelia County
 - Cumberland County
 - Chesterfield County
 - Colonial Heights
 - Goochland County
 - Powhatan County
 - Henrico County
 - Richmond
 - Brunswick County
 - Dinwiddie County
 - Nottoway County
 
The watches will remain in effect throughout Monday morning.
The rainfall is attributed to Tropical Depression Chantal and could bring 1-3 inches of rain to isolated areas throughout the region.
