Free family movie day being held in Petersburg

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Need something fun to do over winter break with the family? Petersburg is hosting a free movie day on Tuesday for people of all ages.
On Tuesday, Dec. 30, the Petersburg Public Library and Petersburg Recreation, Special Events and Volunteerism have come together to host a family movie day to bring the community together over winter break.
The free event will be held at the Petersburg Public Library Conference and Event Center, located at 201 W Washington St.
There will be free refreshments and giveaways of handmade keepsakes and kids' activity books, as well as family photo opportunities.
The movie schedule for the event is listed below:
- "The Grinch" at 1 p.m.
- "The Legend of Oz" at 2:40 p.m.
- "Wicked" at 4:30 p.m.
Parents must accompany their child at this event.
