Frontier Airlines announces nonstop service to Denver, Atlanta at Richmond International Airport this Fall

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Frontier Airlines is set to make their debut at Richmond International Airport (RIC) this Fall with the launch of two new routes.
Twice weekly non-stop services will launch on Friday, Oct. 17 to Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and on Sunday, Oct. 19 to Denver International Airport.
According to a press release, to celebrate the new debut at RIC, America's Greenest Airline is offering fares as low as $29 to flyers.
"We are delighted to make our debut in Richmond, offering area consumers our signature ultra-low fare travel to Atlanta and Denver," said Vice President of Network and Operation Design Josh Flyr.
Flyr continued on to say, "Whether they are planning a trip to Colorado, Georgia, or one of the many destinations we serve beyond, now is a better time than ever for travelers to experience Frontier’s convenience, comfort and affordability.”
New services from RIC include:
- Atlanta (ATL) with a service start date of October 17 and an intro fare of $29
- Denver (DEN) with a service start date of October 19 and an intro fare of $59
Both services have a service frequency of twice a week.
