Glenroy Street in Petersburg to be closed due to high water

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- A portion of Glenroy Street in Petersburg will be closed on Friday due to high water.
Due to high waters, the westbound lane of Glenroy Street between Coggin Streer and East Boulevard will be closed on Friday, April 11.
According to the City of Petersburg, there are detours in place to safely guide drivers through traffic. The city encouraged drivers to be cautious of ponds and high waters while driving through the rain today.
