Hanover County Sheriff’s Office to host active shooter informational for community
HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Sheriff David R. Hines and the staff at the Hanover County Sheriff's County Office are offering information sessions on how to prepare in the event of an active shooter.
The training is aimed at increasing civilian knowledge and awareness on active shooter threats, and will take place on March 27 at 7 p.m. on 12320 Winns Church Rd.
Members from Hanover fire and EMS will also be in attendance to share tips on how to control traumatic bleeding that could save lives.
