Hanover Master Gardeners to host Waterwise Gardening session

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Hanover Master Gardeners will host a session on Saturday where gardeners can see demonstrations of different irrigation types and receive gardening tips.

From 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 14, Hanover Master Gardeners will host "Waterwise Gardening" at their Horticultural Learning Center, located at 13017 Taylor Complex Lane in the town of Ashland in Hanover County.

Attendees will watch demonstrations of various types of irrigation, intensive planting methods, mulching, lawn alternatives, rainwater harvesting and more.

In addition, the event will feature a plant sale that highlights water-wise plants, or plants that do not require much water.
