Henrico County seeks residents’ input on prioritization of grants for affordable housing, other needs
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County will hold a public hearing Wednesday evening to hear how residents wish to prioritize grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development over the next five years. The public hearing will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at Libbie Mill Library, located at 2100 Libbie Lake East St. According to the county, funds are intended to support projects and programs that support low- and moderate-income people and communities through affordable housing initiatives, improvements to low-income areas, economic development and other needs. In addition to the public hearing, residents can share their thoughts through an online survey until Monday, Feb. 10.
