Henrico County surpasses 50% voter turnout in 2024 general election
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico County has shared that over 50% of the county's registered voters have already cast in their ballots in the 2024 general election. According to Henrico County, as of 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, over half of the county's registered voters have cast in their ballots for this year's election -- which includes more than 65,000 early in-person votes and 25,400 absentee mail-in votes. Henrico County's 90 polling locations are open today until 7 p.m. As long as residents are in line by 7 p.m., they still have the ability to vote. 7 p.m. is also the deadline for absentee ballots to be returned to the polling locations or the Henrico Government Center.
