Henrico drivers prepare for weekend lane closure on I-95
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- If weather permits, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will be closing down all westbound lanes on Interstate 64 in Henrico.
The closure is due to concrete repairs on the interstate stating at 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, to 6 a.m. Friday, April 25.
According to VDOT, the closure will continue at noon on Friday, April 25, until noon on Sunday, April 27. A single lane closure that will be in place from noon on Sunday April 27, to 5 a.m. on Monday, April 28.
Drivers will be diverted from I-64 westbound to lanes at Exit 200 to the I-295 north and I-295 south ramps -- traffic is asked stay in the left lane to merge back to I-64 westbound.
